Rasogulla

Ingredients :- 1litre milk 3 cup sugar 1 lemon 1/2 tsp Baking soda Recipe:- Boil the milk. Let it cool for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice in it and keep stirring the milk till the milk starts curdling. Strain the water using muslin cloth . Now , wash the curdled with water to remove the sour taste. Squeeze it nicely till the the last drop of water.Knead it using finger tips till it becomes smooth. Let it rest for five minutes. Mix baking powder and knead it again for 10 minutes. Make smooth balls of it In a pan make sugar syrup using 3 cups of sugar and 8 cups of water. Add half table spoon of milk to remove the residue of sugar. Add the balls into sugar syrup and let it boil for 15 minutes on medium flame. You can add small quantity of water if syrup gets thickened. Remove from the stove and leave it for one hour. Now RASOGULLAS are ready
