Meethe khurme / Shakkarpare

Ingredients:-
Refined flour          2cups
Ghee                        4cups
Sugar                       2cups
Recipe:-
Mix 1cup ghee and refined with little amount of lukewarm water to make a tough and smooth dough.Leave the dough for half an hour.Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each part of 1/2cm thickness.Cut it into small square pieces or required shapes.Deep fry it on a low flame till golden brown.Keep the fried pieces aside.
Now take 1 cup water in the pan and add sugar in it and let it boil for 5 minutes(while boiling it keep stirring). To check the consistency of the syrup drop 2-3 drops of it in water if it settles in water, then the syrup is ready. Switch off the stove . Now pour all the fried pieces into syrup and keep tossing it nicely till whole syrup is absorbed by it.
