COCONUT RICE


INGREDIENTS:-
Rice                        200g
Fresh Coconut     250g
Oil                          2tbsp
Salt  To Taste
Mustard  Seeds    2tsp
Chana Dal             1/2tsp
Pepper Powder    1/4tsp
Curry Leaves        10-15
METHOD:
Boil rice in half litre of water .Cook it till done.Drain the excess water and add 2tsp of oil Leave it  and let it get cool.
In a frying pan , take the remaining oil and heat it.Put mustard seeds ,curry leaves and chana dal into the oil. When it stops crackling put grated coconut into it and fry on low flame for 5 minutes.Switch off the gas stove .Add cooked rice , salt and pepper.Mix it well
Coconut rice is ready to serve
